CLEA (Certificate of Language Engineering Aptitude) is a series of certificates used by the UNDL Foundation to accredit people to work with UNL projects inside the [[UNLarium]]. Each certificate is divided into several different levels, which must be overtaken by candidates in order to be approved. Each level consists of a brief theoretical explanation and some exercises, which are evaluated automatically.   CLEA may be pursued at [[VALERIE]], the Virtual Learning Environment for UNL.

== Certificates ==
There are currently 4 CLEA's:
*CLEA<sup>250</sup> authorizes the work with UNL-NL dictionaries, i.e., dictionaries where [[UW]]s are mapped onto natural language entries
*CLEA<sup>500</sup> authorizes the work with NL dictionaries, i.e., dictionaries where natural language entries are treated
*CLEA<sup>750</sup> authorizes the work with the morphological modules of the grammar (inflectional paradigms and inflectional rules)
*CLEA<sup>1000</sup> authorizes the work with the syntactic and semantic modules of the grammar
Each certificate consists of 20 lessons and 250 exercises, of different levels of complexity.
