The UNDL Foundation has published the final results of the IV UNL Olympiad. We had 8 winners ranked according to the F-Measure and the submission date.

The UNDL Foundation has launched the official competition phase of the III UNL Olympiad. The third edition of the Olympiad is devoted to the development of grammars and dictionaries for UNLizing (with IAN) and NLizing (with EUGENE) the corpus derived from the project UGO-A1. In addition to the prizes, the 10 best UNLization grammars and the 10 best NLization grammars will receive USD500,00 each. The III UNL Olympiad is open to any participant, but it is limited to the set of languages that completed the preparatory phase (below).

The UNDL Foundation searches 8 interns to work in its Internship Program in Computational Linguistics (project FRIDA-A1) in the period of April-June 2014. Candidates must be native speakers of French, Romansh, Italian or German, and must be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate program in the field of Languages, Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing or Translation Studies, in Switzerland or abroad. This is a part-time paid internship, which may be pursued from distance (online) or at the UNDL Foundation office in Geneva.
