Dear All,
From March 1st, the system of calculating UNLcreds in the UNLarium
will be changed. The amount of UNLcreds will be calculated within each
assignment, and no longer daily (at midnight), as it is today. So,
each assignment will correspond to a given amount, which will be
calculated only after the assignment is closed and validated. This
measure is expected to improve the understanding about where UNLcreds
come from and to ensure the quality of entries being introduced in our
system.
In order to implement this change, the following will also apply:
a) All open assignments in the UNLarium will be automatically closed
on February 27th, at midnight. Entries already addressed will be
credited, as usual, and entries postponed or not addressed yet will
return to the database.
b) The UNLarium will be closed during the weekend. It should be back
from Monday 2nd. All other systems (UNLweb, UNLdev, UNLwiki, UNLforum,
etc.) will not be affected.
c) Any assignment, including those coming from editors and reviewers,
will be subject to verification. The verification policy will be
preserved, i.e., users will be able to have up to 5 non-verified
assignments, and the verification is expected to take up to 5 working
days.
d) Grammar work will also subject to specific grammar assignments
within grammar projects, which will be remunerated as per the rules
above.
e) These changes will not affect non-funded projects and partnership
contracts, as the methodology of calculating UNLdots will still be the
same.
Let us know, please, in case of any problems or doubts.
With our best regards,
--
